Ministries - Outreach
Quilters
Our quilters meet every Tuesday at 9:00 am at the church. Last year they made quilts for Lutheran World Relief, the Dunn County Health Care Center, and other agencies. They also make blankets and quilts for our confirmation students and for baptisms.
World Hunger Appeal
Each year, Trinity raised money to end hunger around the world through their "World Hunger Pigs" program. This program involved members of the congregation filling ceramic piggybanks up with space change. Last year, over $1,400.00 was raised.
Mission Kits
During the spring and summer months, led by the WELCA, Trinity gathers items for School, Layette, and Health Kits, many of which stay right here to the help the needy in our area.
Mitten Tree and Operation Christmas Child
During the Christmas season, Trinity members make mittens for needy children as well as participate in the Operation Christmas Child program, which provides Christmas gifts for children around the world.
Food Fight
Each winter and early spring, the congregation holds a "Food Fight" to raise money and food items for the Stepping Stones Food Pantry in Menomonie. What began as a contest between the Men and the Women has evolved into a battle between Pastor Brad and the Congregation. When the congregation reaches certain goals, Pastor Brad must perform certain tasks. Over the previous three years, he has had his hair colored green, kissed a sheep, milked a cow, and dressed up as a cow, among other embarrassing activities.
